Why Worry Grows - Spiritual Growth Encouragement Series

Bible Verse: Matthew 6:34
“Therefore do not be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.”

Reflect and Respond: Why is focusing on the future so futile? How might you refocus your thoughts on today?

Prayer: Father, You are the keeper of my past, my present, and my future. I cannot change the past, yet You forgive and restore. I cannot predict the future, yet You know. But today, this is what I know: ______ And this is what I ask: ______. You are the "I AM" of all my days. May You be praised. Amen.

Lord Jesus, You have given us Your Word as the guide for our daily living. Help me to remember that I should not become anxious for anything but in all things to thank You for Your grace which I enjoy today.

Let us all remember today is a Blessing let us live in each moment. For tomorrow is never promised to us. Live each day as it as the last day of this bodily life.

In combating anxiety we must pray Jesus will keep us fix and locked on Him. Simply ask it it will be given in Faith, Hope, Love and Trust.
