When You Feel Stuck - Spiritual Growth Encouragement Series

Bible Verses: 2 Corinthians 10:12

“Not that we dare to classify or compare ourselves with some of those who are commending themselves. But when they measure themselves by one another and compare themselves with one another, they are without understanding.”

Proverbs 24:16

Father, I want to pursue Christ, but I need Your help to focus, not compare; to endure with Your help and the help of others; to be patient in my growth. I ask Your help in these areas that I may be intentional in my walk, and confident in Your grace. I pray this in Jesus' name. Amen.

I feel stuck in my spiritual growth because of comparing myself to others, besetting sin, and high reaching expectations. Lord this came at a time when I needed to hear it most. I was just speaking with my husband 10 minutes ago about this very same topic so I thank You for leading me here. This video encourages and strengthens me in my walk with You. Thank You for this ministry and for the video Lord. I will pursue You. Please help me to. In Jesus name. Amen.

Lord, sometimes I find myself struggling with where I am spiritually, and at such times I sometime compare myself with my peers. Teach me the valuable of not comparing myself with others but at all times help me to look to You. You are my true measure of what I need to become. Amen.

12 For we dare not make ourselves of the number, or compare ourselves with some that commend themselves: but they measuring themselves by themselves, and comparing themselves among themselves, are not wise. KJV

"But he said to me, My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness. Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me. For the sake of Christ, then, I am content with weaknesses, insults, hardships, persecutions, and calamities. For when I am weak, then I am strong."

- 2 Corinthians 12:9-10

1 Corinthians 4:7

When we compare ourselves to others, we are agreeing with the plans of the enemy for our lives. Comparison is the thief of joy and the stretcher of truth. Comparison says “I am ill-equipped for the task at hand.” The truth is God has given me everything I need for the plans he has set before me.

We are all sinners but remember
Through the power of the Holy Spirit, righteousness allows us to share in the nature of Christ. The righteousness of Christ does more than save us; it helps us become the person God intends for us to be.

Thank You for the uplifting in Christ Jesus.

Father I Pray You would Bless and Thank You for listening accepting and answering our every Prayer even when it is not the answer we want for Father Your Will is Best in Jesus name Amen
