Bible Verses: Galatians 5:16-17

So I say, let the Holy Spirit guide your lives. Then you won’t be doing what your sinful nature craves. The sinful nature wants to do evil, which is just the opposite of what the Spirit wants. And the Spirit gives us desires that are the opposite of what the sinful nature desires. These two forces are constantly fighting each other, so you are not free to carry out your good intentions.

Reflect and Respond:

How does knowing that you're in the middle of a spiritual battle change how you approach the rest of your day today? What verse might you take with you to help you fight this battle?

Prayer:

Father, thank You for Your Holy Spirit. Help me to see Your guidance, follow it, and live in true freedom. Amen.

Thank you for sharing that timely video today. We have to put in the whole armour of God daily.
Thank you, Arnie this will help me stay focus on Jesus.
Kyle, if we are honest, we all struggle daily. But we can grow more and more as we stay in the Word and apply its truths to our lives with the help of the Holy Spirit. Change takes time so celebrate the victories as you work step by step on the areas than need to change. God is for you and not against you.
Where the spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty
Amen Thank You Father God for your Grace and Mercy
I have this struggle in my life; How does one deal with this in a practical way?
Thank you for sharing this instructive video on dealing with the 'struggle between good and evil'. Father, thank You for loving me unconditionally, and for Your indwelling Holy Spirit. Help me to be intentional in making wise choices/decisions today that are in alignment to You will.
Being aware of daily spiritual warfare is a present reality as a Christian—whether I like it or not. I’m grateful for the reminder, as I begin a new day, that only in Christ have I (we) been given EVERYTHING we need to “conquer” through Him who loves us. “Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? As it is written: “For your sake we face death all day long: we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered. No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.” Rom 8:35-37
