Bible Verse: Galatians 5:19-21
“When you follow the desires of your sinful nature, the results are very clear: sexual immorality, impurity, lustful pleasures, idolatry, sorcery, hostility, quarreling, jealousy, outbursts of anger, selfish ambition, dissension, division, envy, drunkenness, wild parties, and other sins like these. Let me tell you again, as I have before, that anyone living that sort of life will not inherit the Kingdom of God."
Reflect and Respond: Galatians 5:19-21 lists a lot of things that come with our sinful nature. But Romans 8:2-4 gives us the good news: Jesus has set us free from sin! What does that mean to you today?
Prayer: Father, thank You for sending Your Son on my behalf to set me free from sin, from anger in particular. Help me choose to be slow to anger today. Amen.
