What Is Forgiveness to You? - Spiritual Growth Encouragement Series

Bible Verse: Ephesians 4:32

“Be kind to one another, tender-hearted, forgiving each other, just as God in Christ also has forgiven you.”

Reflect and Respond:

As Stefanie mentioned, forgiveness starts with one step. What step will you take today? Are you prepared to forgive more than once? How can we pray for you?

Father, I choose to forgive today just as Christ has also forgiven me. I know it may not be easy, but I also know that You are here to strengthen me and provide the grace needed. Therefore, I call on you today to help me forgive. I make this plea in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Matthew 18:21, 22. Then Peter came up and said to him, "Lord, how often shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? As many as seven times?" Jesus said to him, "I do not say to you seven times, but seventy times seven."

Seventy signifies spiritual perfection. So seventy times seven means we need to forgive someone completely, and not let it continue to fester or play over and over again in our minds

"Our worst days are never so bad that you are beyond the reach of God's grace. And your best days are never so good that you are beyond the need of God's grace.

Hate is something we must never give thought to. Jesus is very clear about hate. I know how she fills my mom has done alot wrong to my sister and I. I forgave her yet she just doesn't change. So I continue to Forgive her daily and pray for her. As well my sister to Forgive as I have and let it all go surrendering all to Jesus. Thank You Lord for Your Faithfulness Promises Mercy's and Grace I Love You in Jesus name Amen

Carolyn, my sister in Christ I'm sorry to hear this. Yes I have let it go and forgiven her though she remains the same. I Pray for her and tell her I Love her without any buts....She says she accepted Jesus Christ long ago but it's clear from her continued actions she has forgotten about Jesus. For she would not remain the same.

Yes we see them as it is as they are but as well Forgiveness for each time they remain to be as they are. I am close with my Dad their still married 50 years and I believe in my heart he stays with her because of The Promises he made to God. We can not allow others to control our emotions or they win, there for we Forgive give it to Jesus Pray to soften their hearts to return them back to His side. Let go Let God Be for Forgiveness is a must.

I hope this helps my sister in Christ Jesus, with Love and Blessings God's Grace be with you.🕊️🤗😇

Joey, my Brother in Christ, I have the same situation with my mother as well. I need to really forgive her. I thought I have.... but after studying all this stuff, I'm not sure that I really have. I want too. I still have some sort of relationship with her...she still acts the same way.

I try so see it as, (this is just her, I will accept that)... but I wonder if it's really forginess. Just something I guess I need to think about. Just wanted to share it with you.

I hope you get this and are having a blessed day. 😇
