Bible Verses: Galatians 6:1

"Dear brothers and sisters, if another believer is overcome by some sin, you who are godly should gently and humbly help that person back onto the right path. And be careful not to fall into the same temptation yourself."

Reflect and Respond:

Gently, humbly, be careful -- why are these words so important to HOW you help your brother or sister?

Prayer:

Father, let me be a humble helper to someone today who is struggling with temptation. As Jesus taught us to say, "lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil." May Your name be praised, amen.

A brother or sister who is not threatened by you but knows you have a gentle humble spirit and is not judgemental will be more inclined to come to you and listen to what you have to say. A great reminder of how much words can hurt and heal.
Amen
I HAVE A HUSBAND WHO REFUSES TO CHANGE , DOESN'T WANT TO BE EQUALLY YOKED TO ME AND DOESN'T FINANCIALLY SUPPORT ME EITHER , THE LIST GOES ON AND ON . GOD IS MY HUSBAND IN ALL OF THIS , BECAUSE MY HUSBAND DOESN'T OBEY THE WORD OF GOD . 🙏
Amen
What if they don't want to be helped and bring up things that you do, or things that you have done in your past? And I always get " well none of us are perfect".
Thanks for clearing up the differences of verse, there are so misinformation that are being interpret this verse.
Amen
Thank you for sharing that is so wise
Timely! Thanks for sharing, it's so easy to become "self righteous" especially in this time! Lord, help me today to be gentle and humble in helping others struggling with temptation; and to be careful in not falling into the same sin. Let whatever I do/say bring You glory and honor.
