Unconditional - Spiritual Growth Encouragement Series - Arnie Cole

Bible Verse: Colossians 3:12-15

“Since God chose you to be the holy people he loves, you must clothe yourselves with tenderhearted mercy, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience. Make allowance for each other’s faults, and forgive anyone who offends you. Remember, the Lord forgave you, so you must forgive others. Above all, clothe yourselves with love, which binds us all together in perfect harmony. And let the peace that comes from Christ rule in your hearts. For as members of one body you are called to live in peace. And always be thankful.”

Reflect and Respond:

"Make allowance for each other's faults" tells us that we are all flawed human beings - even within the family of God. Do you have room in your heart to make allowance for another's faults? How does God's forgiveness empower you to forgive another?

Dear Lord, let the peace of Christ rule in my heart. Clothe me in Your love and help me bind together rather than tear apart. To You I give the glory. Amen.

Forgive me Lord for expecting perfection in other people's behaviour and attitude toward me. I certainly am not even near perfect, so create in me a spirit of kindness and forgiveness toward those with whom I am tempted to find fault.
"and wake up every day and do it again" I love it. Thank you for the reminder!!!

Yes this is true but; the Lord did not say I choose to be around a critical person 24/7.
