I tend to not rest well. I have Chronic Mono from 22 years ago. Because I was not resting as I should. I now have medication to help. I'm at least getting 6 hours a day. Thank you God.
Help me recover from my daily labours Lord by granting me peaceful and restful nights.

Heavenly Father with each New Morning I begin and finish with You! You open my eyes Lord and I say Good morning Jesus Thank You for wrapping us in Your Healing Loving Arms Hands Bosom Strengthening my Love Light Hope Faith Trust and Belief in You Father. Lord throughout each new day I Thank You for leading me/us Into Your Amazing Grace making my/our way safe in You, fighting our battles as the battle belongs to You! I Thank You Father for leading me/us in Thy Will Ways Path Light and Perfect Timing teaching me/us to become more like You and less like me/us. For Blessing me/us indeed providing our every need as only You OH Lord can do. Father, please restore my mind, my heart, my body, my soul, my Spirit. Fill me with your Holy Spirit as I rest. I rest in you. Jesus, let not my heart be troubled. Your Peace and Joy you have left with me. I find it in you, not of this world. Fill me with your presence, Lord. All is according to your divine and perfect plan. You have known my steps since before I was knit together in my mother's womb. You know every hair upon my troubled head. I am worth more than many sparrows to you. Jesus, you have made me healed and whole, and righteous in my Father's eyes through your shed blood and striped body. I am highly Favored, Loved, and Blessed by the Lord. Lord, I rest in you. Let your Will be done on Earth as in the Heavens. Thank you for Loving me and for choosing me. In the mighty name of Jesus I pray. Amen
Lord help me to recover while I rest
And this is why I see clearly now that Sabbath was made for man. We should rest in the Lord so we think and physically be more rested Amen!

I see rest in the physical sense very easily. I also believe rest means trusting God for everything instead of worrying, stressing, manipulating, or trying to make things turn out a certain way for our own benefit. Rest is complete trust in God to give us what is best for us, not on out own idea of what is best for us.
Although I'm exercising when I walk, it's my time to get away from my cares and connect with God in His creation. I rest in Him then.
Hebrews 4. Entering into the rest of God. Also in Genesis, after Isaac had dug several wells, God finally gave him rest from his enemies.
