Prayer: Father, I confess that it's easy for me to fall into the trap of self pride. Help me be confident in You and what You do through me, yet humble in my agenda, my power, and my popularity. I ask this in the name and for the sake of Jesus. Amen.

Lord Jesus, remove from me the self-destroying tendency to become prideful, so that I may avoid being disgraced. But help me to cultivate the humility of my Lord and Saviour and the wisdom of God.
It’s sometimes easy for me to fall into self pride when I think I know something and don’t listen to any other idea. I ask God to help me humble myself to listen to Him and others.
