Bible Verses: Ephesians 5:15-16

“So be careful how you live. Don’t live like fools, but like those who are wise. Make the most of every opportunity in these evil days.”

Reflect and Respond:

What opportunities do you have to take in all God has provided for you? How can you focus on them more?

Prayer:

Father, help me make the most of every opportunity to see You, share You and give You glory, today and everyday. Amen.

Amen
I live right in the of mountains. of Colorado. the view I just take in every day.
What opportunities do you have to take in all God has provided for you? How can you focus on them more? God has given me an identity and a family, so I look forward beyond the circumstances, because i want to multiply and fructify like the people of God.
It seems that this "mountain-top" experience is how people typically see the weekend, while the other five days are seen as the trip up the mountain in anticipation of the weekend or the trip back down the mountain in disappointment after the weekend is over. So many days and so many wonderful other "views of beauty" are lost during the week because we are once again looking only toward the mountain-top experience of the weekend. Yet, how often are we disappointed by the experience of the weekend because we did not see all that was placed before us by God during the week in anticipation of the weekend! We so easily "waste" five days each week that God has graciously given to us by focusing only on the two "mountain-top" days of the weekend. We must remember that we are not promised anything other than today, which we must live to the fullest. Lord, help me to see the true gift that today is so that I do not waste it. Thank you for the gift of each day you bless me with.
Thanks for this
This is a timely reminder "that tomorrow is promised to no one"! Thank you Lord, help me to make the best use of my time working for You and bringing you glory!
This really made me think on how I can honor God & Jesus.
Help me to see thru your eyes today Lord so that I don’t let any opportunity pass to worship, praise and share you with others. I have today, tomorrow is not promised to me. I pray I would always be mindful of that.
Thank you for the wonderful words.
