The Best Policy - Spiritual Growth Encouragement Series

Bible Verse: 1 Peter 3:10-12

“For the Scriptures say, ‘If you want to enjoy life and see many happy days, keep your tongue from speaking evil and your lips from telling lies. Turn away from evil and do good. Search for peace, and work to maintain it. The eyes of the Lord watch over those who do right, and his ears are open to their prayers. But the Lord turns his face against those who do evil.’”

Reflect and Respond:

How does honesty give you freedom?

Father, forgive me for any lies I have spoken or any dishonest ways that I have lived. Create in me a clean heart and renew a right spirit within me. I ask this in Jesus' name, Amen.

My Lord Jesus, I come before Your holy presence because I want to be covered under Your almighty wings. Hide me away, Lord, till the storm of life is past. Keep me honest and true for Your future service together with all the saints in heaven. Amen

Yes I agree 💯%. I'm learning that even if someone doesn't want to hear the truth, I will tell the truth anyways because I Peter 3: 10-12 says it all. What pleases my Father in heaven is what's important and is all that matters to me. We all have to answer to him eventually. At the judgement seat of Christ 🛐!
