Bible Verse: 1 Peter 3:10-12
“For the Scriptures say, ‘If you want to enjoy life and see many happy days, keep your tongue from speaking evil and your lips from telling lies. Turn away from evil and do good. Search for peace, and work to maintain it. The eyes of the Lord watch over those who do right, and his ears are open to their prayers. But the Lord turns his face against those who do evil.’”

Reflect and Respond: How does honesty give you freedom?

Prayer: Father, forgive me for any lies I have spoken or any dishonest ways that I have lived. Create in me a clean heart and renew a right spirit within me. I ask this in Jesus' name, Amen.

I need to remember this. I much rather have the Creator of the Universe on my side too! I love the Lord Jesus, and only Him do I long to serve. I can serve Him by helping others in His Name.

In the world of campaign and Politics their are a lot of untruth but when the Candidates use the Bible to spread untruth when is enough is enough. A candidate here in Ohio states the Bible is full of love not hate but that is untrue. To understand the difference between love and hate you have to balance the equation. We know King Saul hated David because he wanted to kill David. We know Cain didn’t like Able because he killed his brother. This is just a little bit of how much hatred was in the Bible but to say it had not hatred in it is just as wrong. To know the truth people need to read and study their Bible each and everyday therefore they will be not be deceived by someone telling them untruth when it come to their religious beliefs. Don’t let people take advantage of your belief any use your belief against you by make you question your own belief.
