Bible Verse: Psalm 141:4

“Do not let my heart be drawn to what is evil so that I take part in wicked deeds along with those who are evildoers; do not let me eat their delicacies."

Reflect and Respond:

Do you have any friends you need to spend less time with? Do you have some friends you need to spend more time with? How can you be intentional about this today?

Prayer:

Lord, may my eyes be opened to how I spend my time, and who I spend my time with. May I see clearly the path I need to take in this matter today. Amen.

Lord Jesus help me resist the darkness of evil deeds and engage the light of Your Word.
Thank you for this reminder.
I think about driving a dump truck years ago and when I would service it I would get filthy, It leaked oil from front to back. When I would get from under it I would have oil stains all over my shirt, it reminded me of being unequal yoked with unbelievers!!!
That is a very good verse and so true thank you for sharing
Seek wisdom to the one that has been around(like an older woman ) as mothers talk with them about how to talk to others about Jesus.
Thank you! Needed this reminder today. Sometimes I allow myself to go along with "the flow". I need to be more intentional at all times in my choices. Lord, "open the eyes of my heart" to detect evil and "run" from it. Lead me in the path of righteousness. Thank You for Your love, mercy and grace.
I need to spend less time online!
@Michael - that is a great analogy and so very true! Thanks for sharing.
The need to stay in God's Word never changes so we as believers need to examine our lives daily staying obedient God
I see myself as a sponge, soaking up whatever I am sitting in. As a result, I need to make sure that I am sitting in a good place with good people. When I do this, I will be soaking up the good that comes from God through them and that good will become part of me, that I may spread it to others.
