Bible Verses: Galatians 5:13

“You, my brothers and sisters, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the flesh; rather, serve one another humbly in love."

Reflect and Respond:

How might you use your freedom to serve someone in love today? Make that your focus and pray for God's strong hand in helping you overcome any temptation that comes your way.

Prayer:

Father, I ask for Your strength, Your wisdom and Your guidance in overcoming temptation today. Help me understand true freedom and let me live in that freedom by serving and blessing others in Your name. Amen.

I think we, as a nation, have forgotten how to 'Love one another.' I think we need to do that.

I had my bout with pornography until I was caught a few years back. From that moment on I've been able to refrain from it totally. Back in the 60's I was never given the birds and the bees talk from my parents, and on to top it off you had Dr Ruth telling people it was natural to explore your sexuality on TV. And I don't recollect our Paster back then ever preaching on the subject. It was almost like it was taboo to talk about those things when I was a kid.
