Bible Verse: Psalm 119:9-11

“How can a young person stay pure? By obeying your word. I have tried hard to find you—don’t let me wander from your commands. I have hidden your word in my heart, that I might not sin against you.”

Reflect and Respond:

Who might you go to for advice regarding temptation and accountability? Here are a few more verses to help you obey God when tempted: Matthew 26:41; Matthew 6:13; Ephesians 6:13.

Prayer:

Father, today I ask that You would help me hide Your word in my heart and stand strong in obedience to You. In Jesus' name I pray, amen.

Amen! We must be aware of Satan's tactics. He often disguises himself as an Angel of Light. We must learn to recognize our true Shepherds voice over the whispers of the dark prince.. Yes, it IS a spiritual battle and the battle is the Lord's, but I Believe that we need to be alert to the enemy just the same. In this way we can go right to God, Jesus, the Holy Spirit for strength immediately and take No Chance on succumbing to the evil ones lies and temptations. And often, they come in forms that we may not expect, such as doubt, wrath, seeking vengeance, covetousness, and other desires of the human heart that can creep in insidiously. We do not need to fear him, but we need to be aware of him.
Thank you for this timely and important message . As the time grows short, the evil one is stepping up his game. As Children of God, we Will Be tempted. We must carry our sword, the Word of God, everywhere and guard our hearts with the Breastplate of Righteousness.
Thank you

With all the evil that the internet has introduced into this world, isn't it wonderful how our Heavenly Father has weaved His web of Goodness into it with sites like these? Especially since Covid struck and many of us were separated from our churches!
