Bible Verses: Proverbs 4:25-27

"Look straight ahead, and fix your eyes on what lies before you. Mark out a straight path for your feet; stay on the safe path. Don’t get sidetracked; keep your feet from following evil."

Reflect and Respond:

What time have you set aside today to focus on God? What things do you need to set aside today to focus on God?

Father, thank You for setting a path before me. Help me to set aside time, and avoid, and ignore the distractions of the day so that I can walk this path with my focus on You. Amen.

Amen! Lord, help/empower me to walk in obedience staying on the "safe path" as You guide me. I recognize I can't do it in my strength. With You I can do all things!
Thanks for your timely reminder of what Proverbs 4:25-27 is telling us. While I want to know more of Jesus, I find that I am frequently distracted from spending quality time in His presence.
This makes me think of the saying every day with Jesus is sweeter than the day before, but we need to spend that time with him to make it sweeter. Also thinking of how many times have I prayed the scripture how the deep pants for water so my soul pants for you O Lord in Psalm 42. I think of how many times I have prayed that for myself .... yet I would get so distracted with other things. Thank you for this reminder.
I should give thanks to God for what he has done for me.
Thank you for the reminder on the day to give thanks for what we have.
Thank you
Thanks for the reminder!
I like to have my quiet time in the morning before I start with my daily activities...My day just seems to go better if I have my quiet time with God as the first thing I do.
Thank you
