Bible Verse: Ephesians 6:10-13
“Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand.”

Reflect and Respond: How will you take your stand today?

Prayer: Dear Father, You are my foundation. Remind me today that Your truth protects me and because of that I can stand firm against the battles of this world. In Your name I take my stand. Amen.

Isaiah talks about our Lord having armor.
The belt of righteousness ,the breastplate of righteousness, the helmet of salvation, and feet of good news.
If our life is to be like Jesus. Jesus was Prepared so do we need to be prepared with the armor of God.

Great words. When we see a flamingo or an image of one we will be reminded of this…to stand in His might. Thank you so much Laura!

Taking the prayerful words of Medal of Honor recipient Desmond Doss:
"Just One More, Lord. Just One More".
No matter what the situation, I want to withstand "just one more" and find myself still standing firm. I know I can't do it alone.
