Bible Verses: Proverbs 21:23
“Whoever keeps his mouth and his tongue keeps himself out of trouble.”

Proverbs 15:1
“A soft answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger.”

James 1:26
“If anyone thinks he is religious and does not bridle his tongue but deceives his heart, this person's religion is worthless.”

Reflect and Respond: Your words can be a storehouse of good or a warehouse of weapons. How will you manage your words today?

Prayer: Father, help me use my words to reflect Your love today. Please bring to mind Your wisdom so that I trust You to resolve problems, rather than rely on my angry words. Amen.

Lord Jesus, help me to shut my mouth whenever I am tempted to get angry and even with my opponent. Help me remember that in order to stay out of trouble I should ask You to give me the grace to stay quiet knowing that You will bring all things to an end.

Good devotion, death and life are in the power of the tongue they build up, and they can also tear down.

It is The Grace of God that reminds me to turn the other cheek. When someone or others say or do something, I look up hands up let go give to God. Then The Holly Spirit helps me reply with true kindness and Humbleness forgiven and then praying for them.

I admit I have bitten my tongue many times but then confess to Jesus knowing I am forgiven. That His Holly Spirit will never stop teaching, helping or praying for us.

Heavenly Father I will never be able to pay You back, I have given my Heart and life to You, Thank You for never letting me/us go but always abiding within us in Jesus name Amen
