i don't say anything, but I get so angry that I harbor ill feelings long after the incident. I am asking God to help me react differently., to just let it go.

God, I need to have you in my thoughts and prayers for patience everyday, in Jesus name Amen

Let the truth be known that from the day we are born we have anger issues. Our diaper wet, we need to be feed, or just want to be pick up we scream bloody murder or at the time of birth some of us got pop on our bottom or just screamed because we were brought into this world of sin from the comfort of heaven. You get the point. We even then had to learn how to deal with anger and it was up to our parent to teach us. Most parents have done just that but then their were other who only taught us hatred with added to that anger. I was lucky to have pad parents and grandparents who taught me love and patients to understand but most of all they taught me forgiveness. Forgiveness is not something that can be taken lightly because how can you forgive when people can’t forgive themselves and use forgiveness as a Crutch to create chaos through corruption for their self benefit, forgiveness only fuel their chaos. This is why the true forgiveness come from Christ not from a human existence.

Lord Jesus, thank You for Your words of caution in helping me control my bouts of anger. With the strength of the Holy Spirit, I know I can be slow to speak and slow to anger. Help me, Lord Jesus, to be strengthened by Your Spirit.
