Lord, You are only too aware of my tendency to blow my top. Keep my mind focused on You, Lord Jesus, that I may remain in control of my temper at the appropriate times.

32 He who is slow to anger is better than the mighty,
And he who rules his spirit than he who takes a city.

Selfcontrol comes from Trusting in Jesus Christ and growing a stronger intimate relationship with Jesus Christ. Then true Peace fills us which allows us to remain calm and rely on Jesus for all things.

It is because I know Jesus is leading the way no matter what comes my/our way we can look up and say Jesus please lead me into Your Amazing Grace, to walk as You walked this earth give me Your Faithfulness and Contentnes to be more like You Father.

Thank You Lord for being The only Truth Speaker Promise Keeper Light that shines bright within us, Father I still Believe my heart Trust in You in Jesus name Amen

Laura you are blessed with two beautiful children! And yes self control is a hard, long gift to exercise in my life, but it teaches me that I should wait on the Lord to lead me in the right direction. Then I will go down the right paths in my life. And helps me to understand why self control is a fruit of the spirit.
