Bible Verse: Isaiah 40:28-31
“Have you never heard? Have you never understood? The LORD is the everlasting God, the Creator of all the earth. He never grows weak or weary. No one can measure the depths of his understanding. He gives power to the weak and strength to the powerless. Even youths will become weak and tired, and young men will fall in exhaustion. But those who trust in the LORD will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint.”

Reflect and Respond: How do you need God's strength today?

Prayer: Father, please give me the wisdom, passion, and strength needed to accomplish the tasks of this day. May the outcome honor You and show me, once again, Your power and love. Amen.

Lord Jesus, I confess that I am weak, but in You I find the strength to carry on. Thank You for renewing me each day, for displaying Your mercy each morning and for Your abiding strength which sees me through my daily troubles. Help me, Lord to trust in You and in no other.

I have needed to rely on God in every trial and tribulation in which I felt close to alone. God has always been there, and in the deepest, saddest times in my life, my faith in God was tested. Now I feel closer to Him then ever. It just keeps on getting better and better. May prayer to you, friend, is that in your deepest times of sadness, that you will remember that you are not alone.
