Lord, please help me to be mindful of what I see, hear and think that some situations can cause anger to want to burst out. Help me to keep in mind that wrong responses can cause forever damage. Help me to always turn to you for help as you have promised to be with me and hear my prayers. Thank you.

Anger has to be one of my worst downfalls. A temper that can blaze intensely for a time; and leaves me weak after it is spent.
I made progress for a time - but fell backwards into it again. I can imagine Satan laughing at my weak efforts to control my anger.
It is embarrassing to be so weak and such a failure.

Jeff - you are not alone with this. The good news is you are now away of this and can turn it over to God fully!
