Bible Verse: James 1:13-15
“And remember, when you are being tempted, do not say, 'God is tempting me.' God is never tempted to do wrong, and he never tempts anyone else. Temptation comes from our own desires, which entice us and drag us away. These desires give birth to sinful actions. And when sin is allowed to grow, it gives birth to death."
Reflect and Respond: Today is your day to PREP for temptation: P: pray for God's Strength. R: Reflect on God's Word. E: Envision your life as an overcomer. P: Praise God for His faithfulness.
Prayer: Father, I want to live for You, not myself. Please help me to take every thought captive and focus on living in You. I ask for Your strength and wisdom against any temptation that comes my way today. I pray this in the name of Your Son, my Savior, Jesus Christ. Amen.

Lord Jesus, help me to understand who you are; I want to know more of You because I wish to resist temptations which destroy our relationship.
