Bible Verses: James 1:13-15

“And remember, when you are being tempted, do not say, 'God is tempting me.' God is never tempted to do wrong, and he never tempts anyone else. Temptation comes from our own desires, which entice us and drag us away. These desires give birth to sinful actions. And when sin is allowed to grow, it gives birth to death."

Reflect and Respond:

Today is your day to PREP for temptation: P: pray for God's Strength. R: Reflect on God's Word. E: Envision your life as an overcomer. P: Praise God for His faithfulness.

Prayer:

Father, I want to live for You, not myself. Please help me to take every thought captive and focus on living in You. I ask for Your strength and wisdom against any temptation that comes my way today. I pray this in the name of Your Son, my Savior, Jesus Christ. Amen.

How comforting it is to know that God never tempts us to do anything that is even remotely wrong. Lord, help me to resist in my hour of temptation, the world's greatest tempter, arch enemy satan. Amen.
Thank you, Jesus for saving me, walking beside me and just being there for me.
*THANKYOUJESUS; AMEN@*
Pastor Joseph Prince said once, "Satan and his temptations are like a bird that keeps flying over our heads. It's up to us to recognize him and stop him from building a nest on top of our head. Recognize him, Rebuke him, and tell him to keep flying right on by". I Love that analogy. Reminds me of how Jesus used parables to help folks understand things. I'd like to add to it, if I may. "Make sure you're not throwing around any bread crumbs or bird seed that might attract that evil bird to try and land and build that nest".😉
That is called, "pointing out the twig in someone else's eye when we have a log in our own". I think we have probably all done it at some point in our lives.
Thank you for sharing Lord show me Where I become weak and give in to temptation
*THANKYOUJESUS@*

Amen!
From experience, part of the means of avoiding temptation is the conscience resolve to flee from the initial stages of temptation and beseech the Holy Spirit to grant one grace, and the spirit of purity

wow what a true revelation in this day and age we have right is wrong and wrong is right we have anger we have hatred we have racism this catapulted to such a level that being anything is wrong we need to really ponder that and share this with others God bless
It's like being told that if you tell someone like a child or adult that something is wrong then you do the same thing what do we call that
Every stay in the world that will show in our thought life and our word life and our actions towards others for more importantly ourselves but we have a short memory don't we
I wonder why we don't take that and use it
It's like a word that seems to stain all of us
Thank you Mr Arnie that makes sense
Thank you, Lord. Amen.
