Bible Verse: Matthew 7:3-5
"And why worry about a speck in your friend’s eye when you have a log in your own? How can you think of saying to your friend, ‘Let me help you get rid of that speck in your eye,’ when you can’t see past the log in your own eye? Hypocrite! First get rid of the log in your own eye; then you will see well enough to deal with the speck in your friend’s eye."
Reflect and Respond: Is there a log that needs to be dislodged from your eye? Ask God to help you with this today.
Prayer: Father, please forgive me for any thoughtless ways. Help me see myself truthfully knowing the grace You have extended to me. Help me see others as You see them, and share your grace and truth with them in love, according to Your word. Amen.

Amen Father God help me to love others as you do to help others as you do. In Jesus name Amen 🙏🏻
Lord Jesus, Your advice to us helps me to consider my own actions in criticizing others. Remind me, Lord, each time I'm about to criticize what You said about the beam in my own eye. Keep my lips shut so that I do not criticize when I can instead try to be more understanding. This I pray, Amen.

Sometimes I get upset with my mom about her unhealthy actions, when I have unhealthy actions at times too. I feel resentment for her at times. Please pray that Jesus's compassion will be filled in me, and that I won't be a hypocrite. Thank you.
