Psalm 23 - Spiritual Growth Encouragement Series

Bible Verse: Psalm 23:1-6
“The LORD is my shepherd, I lack nothing. He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, he refreshes my soul. He guides me along the right paths for his name’s sake. Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. Surely your goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever. ”

I hope you are aware that you all are talking from this version of the Bible that you have a generation of people who are moving away from the Bible because there is a movement who think that these are not God words. People know that doing the time of the Bible that they did not talk the way we talk today therefore by changing and rewrite so it is better to understand in todays terminology people think that it not God words been spoken. Therefore where you think you are bring more people to the true understanding of the Bible of God words that in reality you are doing the total opposite, you are actually pushing people away from God than bring people toward God. This is why a warning in Revelation 20:18-19 “and if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.”
Yet we did just that rewrite that took away the way people talked at the time which by doing so took away the true meaning of God holy words, otherwise why was that even added to the last few versus of Revelation in the first place. Again changing what God said do not change for it was know even then that someone would come along and do just that and turn people away. Yet know one even think that they did anything wrong by doing so even as people move away from the Bible because they doesn’t believe the Bible is actually God words. THEREFORE “THINK ABOUT THIS NOW KNOWN FACT?” Something’s was never meant to be Disturbed from it original form, but as man we doesn’t know how to leave well enough alone.

I wasn’t aware that some/many had that perception. Early on I studied from the King’s James version. I understood that translation was more suitable for that time period. Today I study the Bible with more than one translation and a study Bible. The Holy Spirit helps me to interrupt and understand Gods word.

Lord Jesus, You are the Great Shepherd of the fold and You lead so that I can follow. Teach me more of You as I continue to lie down at Your feet and as I continue to lean upon Your rod and staff. Amen
