Psalm 121 - Spiritual Growth Encouragement Series

Bible Verse: Psalm 121
“I look up to the mountains—does my help come from there? My help comes from the LORD, who made heaven and earth! He will not let you stumble; the one who watches over you will not slumber. Indeed, he who watches over Israel never slumbers or sleeps. The LORD himself watches over you! The LORD stands beside you as your protective shade. The sun will not harm you by day, nor the moon at night. The LORD keeps you from all harm and watches over your life. The LORD keeps watch over you as you come and go, both now and forever.”

Reflect and Respond: According to today's scripture, why can you count on God to help you? Video by Shift Worship.

Prayer: Father, day and night You are at watch over me because You have no need of sleep. Today I look to You for help. Lead me on the right path, keep me safe as I travel that path. Let me trust You in this now, and forever. Amen.

Heavenly Father, like King David, I too declare that my help comes from You who made the heavens and the earth. Keep me focused on You and help me keep my eyes fixed on Thee so that my paths may never stray from Your presence.

"But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint." Isaiah 40:31 is one of my favourite verses.
