Bible Verses: Luke 22:40

“Pray that you may not enter into temptation.”

Reflect and Respond:

Jesus knew His disciples would encounter many temptations -- temptation to give up the faith, temptation to run, temptation to live the good life instead of the sacrificial life of a believer. So, He urged them to pray that they would not fall into temptation. Prayer was the weapon of choice for Jesus in the battle against evil. Be sure to use it today!

Prayer:

Dear Father, I know I am in a battle. I know the enemy attacks at my weak points. So today, I ask you to keep me from falling into temptation knowing that You are strong where I am weak. I ask specifically for ..... I pray this in the name of Jesus. Amen.
