"He who began the good work in us will complete it". This is Jesús in our life. There will be always struggles and perhaps moments of failure but the Lord continúes to hold us with His hands to forge that new man day by day at His will. Amén.
Great words of wisdom,thank you
Praying for you Richard. Life transformation that Jesus brings to us is certainly awesome!
This is wat we need in our daily life and walk in our faith, with our Lord Jesus Christ on our daily journey..
Heavenly Father, help me become a new person, help me overcome my old nature!
way to go Arnie......Love you man.....I'm 62 and two years ago, Jesus and I Had a talk. He let me run as far as I wanted to take it. From shooting up meth, to smoking crack to dealing pot to prisons, rehabs, to ect. Now, I have known God in the past, but I thought I had a better way. Boy was I wrong....2 years ago He allowed the rug to be pulled out from under me....Today I can say I'm a new creature in Christ. He has totally done what man has tried to do for years break my sin nature.
I get an indescribable comfort knowing that I belong to Christ. Thanks for today's message, Arnie!
Glad to know that I am not alone in this journey of transformation!
it's so hard to throw off our old nature - it's comfortable and easy to return to. Thanks for the reminder.
Christ died and rose again for me, because He loved me that much I choose to love Him back, obey the Word of God and live for Him. I'm so far from perfect but I want to cooperate fully in putting off the old man.
It's a good way to approach it - I need to treat every day like it's own individual battle that needs to be won.
The flesh is always at war with the Spirit. The good thing is when I struggle, I remember, it's really not my battle. It's the battle of the Spirit. I need to be willing to submit to Him in those moments of weakness and temptation.
Arnie, thanks for the encouragement to overcome the old nature.
It can be very difficult to let go of those old things in our lives. This is a good reminder to let them go and focus on the right things as we grow in our faith.
Recently I've felt God calling me to let go of the "old" things in my life that drag me down. Most of these old things are my own attitudes and beliefs about myself and my life that don't line up with who He says I am. Thankful for the gift of a new day to focus on Him!
