Father, today I pray that Your words would take root in my head and my heart. Help me to focus on them and commit them to memory. May Your will be done and Your transforming power be alive in my life. I pray this in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Yes I agree. Memorizing God's Book means memorizing the instruction book of our lives. Your Word I wish to hide in my heart so that I may not sin against Thee, Lord Jesus.

I have memorized a lot of scripture but I also have forgotten a lot which makes me sad. There is power in the Word especially if spoken out loud. The Word is our Sword in our battle armor of God so we need to know it.. God is good but He deserves respect and knowing His Word is one of the ways we show respect. It is God’s thoughts, promises, actions, and it tells the end of the story. We win with God....Amen.

It says in God's word: that His word will not return void, when you need a scripture even ones you think you forgot, He will bring it to mind Amen🙏
