Look Beyond Your Troubles - Spiritual Growth Encouragement Series - Arnie Cole

Bible Verses: 2 Corinthians 4:17-18

“For our present troubles are small and won’t last very long. Yet they produce for us a glory that vastly outweighs them and will last forever! So we don’t look at the troubles we can see now; rather, we fix our gaze on things that cannot be seen. For the things we see now will soon be gone, but the things we cannot see will last forever."

Reflect and Respond:

Think about today's verse and the quarter exercise I shared with you. How do they help you sharpen your vision?

Father, I confess that I often get stuck in what I can see with my physical eyes. Please help me see with spiritual eyes so that I can live in the light of Your eternal kingdom. Amen.

Give me the eyes Lord to see beyond my present situation and unto the things that are not seen; eyes like Yours.

Just was dealing with an icky financial mess. What a great reminder this was--these troubles are just a drop in the bucket compared to eternity! And God has it all under control--even if I can't see it today. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you, I needed this today. Thank you Jesus for this loving ministry.
Thank you, Father. Amen.
