Look Beyond Your Troubles - Spiritual Growth Encouragement Series

Bible Verses: 2 Corinthians 4:17-18

“For our present troubles are small and won’t last very long. Yet they produce for us a glory that vastly outweighs them and will last forever! So we don’t look at the troubles we can see now; rather, we fix our gaze on things that cannot be seen. For the things we see now will soon be gone, but the things we cannot see will last forever."

Reflect and Respond:

Think about today's verse and the quarter exercise I shared with you. How do they help you sharpen your vision?

Father, I confess that I often get stuck in what I can see with my physical eyes. Please help me see with spiritual eyes so that I can live in the light of Your eternal kingdom. Amen.

The Lord said “ in this world you will have trouble, but fear not, I have overcome the world. No one has ever, or over will have more trouble in this world than our Lord, and Savior did. Praise him for my trouble’s. That’s when I fill His presents the most, and in time His mighty Hand working all things for my good , and His glory according to His will.

My Lord and my God, thank You for telling me that my present troubles are but for a short while; that they work out a far greater value in glory and will profit me spiritually in the end. Lord, help me to keep focus on the things that are above, especially for Your return.

17 For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory;

18 While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.

Simply remember to Trust God with all things Big or Small He Has them all, Thank You Lord, in Jesus name Amen
