Look Beyond Your Troubles - Spiritual Growth Encouragement Series

Bible Verses: 2 Corinthians 4:17-18

“For our present troubles are small and won’t last very long. Yet they produce for us a glory that vastly outweighs them and will last forever! So we don’t look at the troubles we can see now; rather, we fix our gaze on things that cannot be seen. For the things we see now will soon be gone, but the things we cannot see will last forever."

Reflect and Respond:

Think about today's verse and the quarter exercise I shared with you. How do they help you sharpen your vision?

Father, I confess that I often get stuck in what I can see with my physical eyes. Please help me see with spiritual eyes so that I can live in the light of Your eternal kingdom. Amen.

The "Quarter Exercise" is a demonstration of how easy it is to focus on what is right before you and not what really matters.

I need this reminder often! It’s so easy to get stuck in focusing on our present troubles. Thankful for a God who is so much bigger than our daily problems! Thank you for commenting and reading :)

Lord, help me to see things the way You see them, and for me to mature in the Word.
