Lone Wolf - Spiritual Growth Encouragement Series

Bible Verses: Ecclesiastes 4:9-12

"Two people are better off than one, for they can help each other succeed. If one person falls, the other can reach out and help. But someone who falls alone is in real trouble. Likewise, two people lying close together can keep each other warm. But how can one be warm alone? A person standing alone can be attacked and defeated, but two can stand back-to-back and conquer. Three are even better, for a triple-braided cord is not easily broken."

Reflect and Respond:

While being part of a group in the midst of a pandemic is challenging, we do have technology that we can use to our advantage. Who might you call, text, Zoom, email, or send a card to today?

Father, I ask for Your guidance and blessing as I reach out to _______ today. May we both benefit in our connection with each other, through You. Amen.

By myself, Lord Jesus I am nothing; but in You I am strong. Help me to reach out to You because my time is in Your hand.

I believe there is strength in community, but some of us including myself, don't trust community. I am always quick to help but is hesitant at receiving. I will reach out to others, but will not readily respond to people who are reaching out to me.

Great point, Miriam! Sometimes letting others reach out to you is just as hard if not harder! I always have to pray that God helps me to have an open heart to those reaching out to me as well.
