Bible Verse: Psalm 55:22

“Cast your burden on the LORD, and He shall sustain you; He shall never permit the righteous to be moved.”

Reflect and Respond:

What is it that is weighing you down today? According to Psalm 55:22, what is the best way forward with this burden?

Prayer:

Father, You have promised to sustain me through trying circumstances. Today I place my cares on You knowing that through trusting Jesus, I have been brought into Your family, and I am safe as Your child. Amen.

Amen
The Bible reminds me that I donot have to carry my loads. Jesús wants to do it and give me fullness of life. I need to learn to rest in the Lord.
Great reminder!
Amen and Amen.Praise God
Thanks for sharing Joe!
What is weighing me down? Fear and procrastination! I am 63 years old and pretty good health but I battle asthma and allergies. I will be glad when this coronavirus is over. I put all my trust and faith in The Lord, but I know we all have to use common sense at this time. I covet your prayers! I would like to share my testimony with everyone who sees this! I married a young lady I went to school with. She has grew up in our church and has always been faithful to the Lord we married in 1979 but I wasn’t a Christian so I keep doing drugs and drinking. After I our first daughter was one born on Valentine’s Day she told me l could do whatever I wanted to she said she couldn’t change me but she knew the Lord could. After our second daughter was born on Mother’s Day in 1984. She told me she was sick of me but continued to pray for me and August the fourth 1984 I was working on a 15 thousand acre ranch while shipping cattle I had a horse fall with me and was unconscious for three days. I wanted share this and hopefully encourage someone to never give up on pray. We have been married forty years our daughters both married Christian men and have five wonderful grandkids! PS and I have been a deacon in our Church for thirty plus years!!! God has been so good to us. I hope everyone reading this will draw closer and closer to our Heavenly Father!!!
It's a great reminder to take a look at your backpack from time to time and see what things you can give to God to carry!
Sometimes I struggle with wanting to keep the backpack on. It's a humble brag sort of thing. I feel like we do that when we say "I'm busy" when people ask how we're doing. This is a good reminder to empty our backpack. Thanks, Madison!
