Let Go and Start to Love - Spiritual Growth Encouragement Series

Bible Verses: James 5:9

“Don’t grumble about each other, brothers and sisters, or you will be judged. For look—the Judge is standing at the door!"

Reflect and Respond:

Is there anything you need to let go of today? How might you exchange grumbling for grace?

Lord, I know You are present today, and I want to honor You in what I do and say. Please help me to remember Your grace to me, and extend that grace to others. Amen.

So our Judge is standing at the door, let this be more mindful we do not judge one another.

Timely message.

Heavenly Father, I pray that You will envelope Diane as she is going through this challenging period. I pray that You will strengthen and enable her. Please grant her the grace and courage she needs daily to do all that is necessary to care for her sister. Father, please help Diane to always remember that by doing acts of love toward her sister she is storing up treasures in heaven. Please also help her to schedule time to care for herself (eat a meal, personal hygiene, sleep or nap) during the course of each day. I thank You, Father, for Diane and her faithfulness. Please bless her far above what she could ever ask. For I pray in Jesus' Name. Amen.

Lord, " Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in Thy sight, O Lord, my strength and my Redeemer". (Ps. 19v14).

God knows I truly needed to hear this today. I'm having a hard time dealing with my sister who is suffering from dementia. I get angry with myself every time because I truly know she can't help herself. I was much more compassionate with an older sister suffering the same disease. Maybe because there are only two years between me & this sister. I need prayer for patience & understanding. Lord, help me!
