Jesus immediately reached out and grabbed him. 'You have so little faith,' Jesus said. 'Why did you doubt me?'”

Prayer: Dear Lord, I pray that You would open my mind and heart to Your teaching. Please help my eyes clearly focus on Jesus and follow Him wherever I am called. Amen.

This is very well said. I want you to know that following hearing this a few weeks ago, I stopped listening to the news / narrative and started shifting my focus to Jesus and the Bible. I am much happier and my attention is much better placed!
I will keep my eyes on Jesus for He is my Source.
Fear is such a powerful emotion. We fear we will sink below the weight of our troubles. We feel threatened and can see no way out as we pass through our hardships and pain. Stubborn conditions will try to torment us.
I was reminded this morning of Psalm 56:3: "When I am afraid, I will put my trust and faith in You" (Amplified Bible).
Although David's fear was caused by his enemies, we can apply this verse to any awful trial we are going through. No matter how bad it gets, step by step always put your trust in Him.

Lord Jesus, You are my Light and my Salvation; help me to keep looking up to find You. Keep me from gazing at the "wind" that is round about me. You enlighten my dark path and my dim understanding, and so, I seek to place my hand in Yours so that You may lead me onward. Amen.
FATHER, HELP ME TO FOCUS MORE ON YOU AND YOUR WORD, NOT THE THINGS AROUND ME. IN JESUS AMEN!!!
