Bible Verse: 1 Peter 1:6-9
“So be truly glad. There is wonderful joy ahead, even though you must endure many trials for a little while. These trials will show that your faith is genuine. It is being tested as fire tests and purifies gold—though your faith is far more precious than mere gold. So when your faith remains strong through many trials, it will bring you much praise and glory and honor on the day when Jesus Christ is revealed to the whole world.You love him even though you have never seen him. Though you do not see him now, you trust him; and you rejoice with a glorious, inexpressible joy. The reward for trusting him will be the salvation of your souls.”
Philippians 4:6-7
"Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus."

Yes, if we're dealing with something heavy, it can be hard to think in another year that approaches.
Yes, it can seem impossible to find any joy if our world is caving in around us.
Yes, we need to go to the Word of God to find comfort and peace and Joy.

Very difficult times. It seems to be all around. Please Lord give me strength and wisdom to get through this unsettling world.
Hard to find joy when family is tearing each other apart. I pray for unity, repentance, soft hearts, forgiveness and to bring my family back together. Courts are involved and it is making me ill. Please pray.
Health problems
When I chose other, I'm clinically depressed. Health, or lack thereof, prevents my 'joy' in life. Plz God, help my mind health improve, Amen
