Isolated - Spiritual Growth Encouragement Series

Bible Verse: John 16:32-33
“But the time is coming—indeed it’s here now—when you will be scattered, each one going his own way, leaving me alone. Yet I am not alone because the Father is with me. 33 I have told you all this so that you may have peace in me. Here on earth you will have many trials and sorrows. But take heart, because I have overcome the world.”

Reflect and Respond: Here are some additional verses about God's presence: Matthew 28:16-20; Psalm 139:7; Psalm 16:11.

Prayer: Father, as I draw near today through Your Word, help me to know You better and take on Your wisdom. Please fill my loneliness with Your presence. I ask this is the name of Jesus. Amen.

Lord Jesus, You have endured the same kind of sorrow and pain and loneliness as we do. But You have reminded us that You are never alone because of the presence of our heavenly Father. So because we find our life in You, we also can truly say that we too are never alone. Thank You for Your abiding presence.
