Bible Verses: 2 Corinthians 12:9

“Each time he said, ‘My grace is all you need. My power works best in weakness.’ So now I am glad to boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ can work through me."

Reflect and Respond:

Where do you need God’s strength in your life today? What does it mean to you to know that God’s power works best in your weakness? How might you serve God today, trusting in His power?

Lord, I come to you in my weakness and ask for Your strength to walk in Your ways and serve You today. Amen.

As Christ follower have this hope within us that we can boast through our weakness.
You will remain in my thoughts and prayers. May you feel God's presence, as well as your mother watching over you. Amen.
Lord, bless me with strength in my weakness. In Jesus' precious, beautiful name, Amen!!
I need God's strength to hold me up in times of loneliness and sadness over my mom's passing. I can get so sad and then I have a hard time functioning. Thank you God that you are with me and that you are close to the broken hearted. Today I am trying to give some clothes away to someone who may need them. A really small sacrifice compared to what Jesus has done for me. 😔
The joy of the Lord is our strength. So when we feel overloaded and just plain weak to respond to the things Christ has asked us to do, call upon His strength to enable us to do His Will. Pastor Bob
I am encouraged in so many ways by this scripture. The challenges are real, here comes "Gods grace" and calms the challenges. Amen
Very timely encouragement
Laura, I needed to hear this encouragement today! The struggles in life are real and sometimes overwhelming! Thank you! Lord, thank You that "You are my Refuge and Strength", and for the privilege to run to You in my weaknesses. I give You thanks for them, for it allows You power to work through me, I rejoice in You grace and mercy which You lovingly bestows to to all in need.
Letting God take control of our lives is hard to do when we try to achieve things be yourself without His help. Thank you Laura! A great reminder as we start the day!
