Hope After Divorce - Spiritual Growth Encouragement Series

Bible Verse: Jeremiah 29:11-13
"'For I know the plans I have for you,' says the LORD. 'They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. In those days when you pray, I will listen. If you look for me wholeheartedly, you will find me.'"

Reflect and Respond: Where do you find hope in today's passage? Here are several more hopeful verses to encourage you today: Isaiah 40:31; Philippians 1:6; Psalm 33:18; Romans 5:5.

Prayer: Father, divorce is so painful. Today I pray for Your unending mercy to touch my life, and the lives of others who have suffered because of it. Please heal, restore, and renew my life according to Your plan. Give me hope through your word, and enduring faith that rests in Your everlasting presence. I pray this in the name of Jesus. Amen.

I have never been married, but I have been a child of an ugly divorce. My fear that since my parents got divorced, I would have experienced this in my life.

Kyle if your heart Trust in Jesus He will wash away those things that seam to cause you fear. Why because The Lord tells us to fear for I am with you wherever you go, that includes in whatever you do. Leave the past behind live today in the moment knowing that Jesus is with you and His Will....will be done. Keep your eyes open asked The Lord to help you see and feel all things He has given and will give in this one beautiful journey of life He gave us through Him. Rise up and live today not in the past, for today is a Blessing but there is no promise of tomorrow. Live Kyle not as what you seen happen in the past but instead what Jesus has for you today.
May God Bless You and guide in all things.
