He Will Hold Us Up - Spiritual Growth Encouragement Series

Bible Verse: Isaiah 41:10

“Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand.”

Reflect and Respond:

This verse shows us not only the love God has for His people but the fact that He also wants to encourage us. How does God's encouragement to not be afraid or discouraged, along with His promises to strengthen you and hold you up impact your thoughts today?

Dear God, thank you for your words of encouragement and promise. Help me to realize what a powerful, yet loving and caring Father you are to me. Today let my life show what it means to live with confidence in you. Amen.

I can say consistently, I am not afraid, because I know Jesus is with me until the last day of my life, and ever more. In the eternity I will enjoy His presence, because He give me eternal life.

Thanks! I was able to share the audio portion of the video with my mom while we were on the phone together. She is in a nursing home for rehab and has been isolated for a month now. Very thankful for such a timely reminder and much needed encouragement.🧎‍♀️

Barbara, I work in a nursing home where our patients and residents are also in isolation with no visitors. I know how hard this for them and for the families. Please be assured that so many of us workers pray fervently for both! I am on a Wellness team and we take activities to their rooms - we sing, we read, we try to play bingo (that's really interesting LOL), we provide crossword puzzles, we bring requested food and drinks, and, for those who can, we bring important exercise to keep them moving. We stay in the hallway or in their doorway to do these things. We wear gloves and masks.

Keep strong faith!!
