God Hasn't Abandoned You! - Spiritual Growth Encouragement Series - Arnie Cole

<br>

Bible Verse: Psalm 37:25

Once I was young, and now I am old. Yet I have never seen the godly abandoned or their children begging for bread.

Reflect and Respond:

Faith grows in tough times. Today I encourage you, even in the midst of any fears, to choose to believe God. It may be similar to the belief of the man in Mark 9:24 who cried out, “I do believe, but help me overcome my unbelief!” He chose to believe, and Jesus met him there with healing and comfort. God hasn't abandoned you. Today, choose to believe!

Prayer:

Dear Lord, I want Your presence in my life to be evident - not to reflect on me - but to reflect Your love! I pray that I would do that for You today! Amen.

We look forward to your comments and questions below!

God will take of me,
It is extremily important to remember that Jesús never abandon me. He cares for me and will provide what I need in His infinite wisdom. PTL.
Thank you for that reminder of God never leaving us. I try to take my thoughts captive and not worry. It’s not easy. I’m thankful God never gives up on us. Thank you for the encouragement.
Hallelujah! What an Awesome Truth.....WE ARE NOT ALONE!
God bless
Thanks for the reminder. Good bless.

Mark, I pray that God will comfort you today.
I loved this message. Our faith does grow in the hard times. Keep our eyes on the prize!
Hey Mark There's a misprint in my typing...vs 39 the word like is supposed to be lost.. of all He has given me I should like nothing.
Mark I just want to say that believing doesn't depend on feeling. Hebrews 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. Deuteronomy 31:6 "Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified of them, for the LORD your God goes with you; He will never leave you nor forsake you." Hebrews 13:5 is similar. In John 4:13 Jesus tells the woman at the well, whoever drinks of this water will thirst again, but whoever drinks of the water I shall give him will never thirst. But the water that I shall give him will become a fountain of water springing up into everlasting life. And finally...John 6:37-40 All that the Father gives Me will come to Me, and the one who comes to Me I will by no means cast out. For I have come down from heaven, not to do my will, but the will of Him who sent Me. This is the will of the Father who sent Me, that of all He has given Me I should like nothing, but should raise it up at the last day. And this is the will of Him who sent Me, that everyone who sees the Son and believes in Him may have everlasting life; and I will raise him up at the last day.. Just believe and do the next thing. Know you are loved, Patricia
I have always believed that. Until I literally felt GOD'S presence leave my body and away from me in my time of direr need. I felt the warmthness and comfort of his presence leave and a very chilling dark cold enter into my soul. He does leave and forsake you. I have wracked my brain over and over again and again. And I can find no reason for this decision. GOD can do whatever he wants. If he wants to leave you he can leave you. What can we do about it? You can say he doesn't but I know he did.
We are facing a very scary time. This is a great reminder that God will always be with us.
The Lord is my Shepherd; I have everything that I need!
Thank you for reminding us God will never abandoned us.. WE need to put our trust in him and everything will be fine...
Thank you,much needed words
