Reflect and Respond: How will you prepare to "keep your head in the game" today, and not let disappointment or anger control you?
Prayer: Father, I don't have to worry, or be angry, or discouraged when I have Your salvation for my past, my present, and my future. So today I acknowledge that You are in full control of my situation and I can place my angry feelings in Your hands rather than throw them at others. Help me to live this out today. Amen.

Heavenly Father, today I place my life into Your hand and ask that You lead me in all my circumstances. By Your Spirit, calm my tendency to get angry and help me to wait on You and forsake my headstrong ways. Amen.
Thank you for this devotional today. One of the phrases I learned while attending college is "It is no disgrace to fail, but it is a sin to do less than your best."
