Get Up and Git'r Done - Spiritual Growth Encouragement Series

Bible Verses: Proverbs 6:9-11

"But you, lazybones, how long will you sleep? When will you wake up? A little extra sleep, a little more slumber, a little folding of the hands to rest—then poverty will pounce on you like a bandit; scarcity will attack you like an armed robber."

Reflect and Respond:

What do you need to do for the Lord (and your mom, dad, friend, teacher, employer) today?

Father, thank You for giving me so many great ways to serve you. Help me to hear You when You call and act on the opportunities to serve in Your kingdom. Amen.

We all as Christians should take this to heart God has not called us to sit on the sidelines there's a spiritual battle going on for souls and we are God's warriors. We are meant to be in the battle that's why Paul reminds us in Romans to always put on the full armor of God not to sit in the pews and listen but to serve God first and then others. I praise God I have the opportunity to just be a part of the great story he is writing every day.

I like the helpful attitude. We need our children to feel the satisfaction and joy of completing daily tasks, and genuinely keeping a good heart to help! Don't forget to say something differently to let them know they are doing some adulting acts for themselves and the family.
