Bible Verse: Luke 9:22
“The Son of Man must suffer many things and be rejected by the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and on the third day be raised.”
Reflect and Respond: The very Jesus who created you is the same Jesus who was rejected by those He created. Jesus risked being rejected because He desires you and longs for you to experience what it is to be fully known by him. You can rest knowing that in Jesus you are accepted and belong.
Prayer: God, I want to be vulnerable to You, to let You into all that is part of me, even the ugliest parts. Please come in and help me know Your love and forgiveness. I want to be open and honest with You. I want to rest by laying the burden of my sin at Your feet and looking to You to guide each step forward from here. I ask this in Jesus' Name. Amen.

Afflictions are but the shadows of Gods wings!!! Thank you Lord, for your faithfulness in many struggles and challenges in my life. It’s in these times, you reveal your self, to me, though your word, and spirit you guide and direct me into the path I should go. When I don’t feel close to Jesus, it’s me that walked away, Jesus is the way maker, he does the work , not us.
Praise the LORD
