Bible Verse: Ephesians 4:14 Then we will no longer be infants, tossed back and forth by the waves, and blown here and there by every wind of teaching and by the cunning and craftiness of people in their deceitful scheming. REFLECT and RESPOND: Today, find some time to shut out the world's many voices, and listen to what Jesus has to say to you in Ephesians 4:14-24. PRAYER: Father, I want to be mature. I want to stand steady in trusting you. But more than anything, I want a closer relationship with you through your son Jesus. Open my eyes, my ears, and my heart to your words to me today. Amen. I have a design made it by the death and resurrection of Christ to listen the voice of my God; in his word i find rest and wisdom for my life. I need his word like an adict his medicina, like a thirsty person needs water.
Thank you Arnie, for the encouragement, it is so much needed for to day.
Dear Holy father, i recognise that i want more than nothing to shut out the strange voices that confuses and distracts me from the truth of your Word, instead stand steady in the foundation of the Bible and have a close relation with my Lord. Amen
Building the relationship with God is so important and reading the Bible is the way to hear from God.
Thanks Arnie, these encouragements are just what I need at this time in my life.
ran across your page today,,,right on, you are being led by the Holy Spirit. I have been seeking absolute surrender to the will of God daily. and the rewards are just to many to mention. I have prospered so much in His light, that the darkness is just about gone. I know this world is full of darkness, its all around me. the cool part is I dont have to be a part of it. I dont ignore it, I just turn it over to the Lord, He created it, He can deal with it a lot better than me. I didnt create the universe.... He did....... Furthermore Praise God, Those who try to suck me in there unbelief get moved to the head of my prayer list!
Gods word is the only way to keep us from being deceived......Keep reading!!!
This year I have benefited so much from removing distractions from my life and making room for Godly wisdom and guidance.
Learning God's word will help keep me from being decieved
Thank you Arnie, this will help me to on track on life journey that will be pleasing to God and the Lord Jesus Christ.
Thanks everyone for your comments! Please let me know more about how you are making time every day to walk closer to Jesus.
I think realizing that we are stepping further away from Jesus is a great start. The journey of getting back on track starts there. I am thankful that in less than 2 minutes you made me be more attentive to what I follow in my life and that following Jesus needs to me my main goal.
Wow! Such needed words in my life. Thank you!
Following God's path can be a real challenge. Our world is so focused on leading us astray. This was a great reminder of what I need to be doing today.
Amen! It's very easy to feel as if being on the right way, but the only right way is through Jesus and with Jesus. The truth is in Jesus (Eph. 4:21) and we need to remember we are renewed in the spirit of our minds (Eph. 4:23), and the Lord and seeking His ways including our own spiritual growth, is our main focus and main path. Thank you, Jesus!
With the internet the way it is, I have more voices talking at me than ever before. Thanks for the reminder on focusing on Jesus' voice.
Ephesians 4:14 is a great reminder to look to Jesus for the right voice!
A great reminder. I really needed that today.
It is so easy to get off track. Thankful we have a resource to help us. Good words.
Knowledge is the beginning of wisdom - I know I need to stay in the Bible to have the knowledge required to make wise decisions about what I believe.
Lies do have a way of sounding like the truth ...unless you're reminded of the truth daily. Thanks for the reminder.
This is fantastic! I’m very excited about receiving daily spiritual encouragement!
What a great reminder to trust and follow Jesus every day. I love Ephesians 4:14!
It's so easy in today's world to be bombarded by lots of information that says it's the truth. It's such a great reminder that the Bible is our authority on truth and the best way to find our way. We need to stay engaged in His Word. Thanks Arnie.
It is good to know that I am not the ONLY one who has done this. Thank you for sharing these thoughts & verses with me today - this is just what I needed to hear!
My constant prayer has always been that God will help me listen to his word and will. I love that advise that I too need to participate and actively carve out time for that reflection.
I need input like the robot from Short Circuit. Many times I go to the library or Barnes and Noble looking for the next book that will help me in my home and work life. I need to spend more time in the Bible. Thanks for helping remind me of that.
