This is also our first Christmas without our Dad. Mom with her dimetia does not know he passed away. Lord I pray to fill us with the warmth of your presence and embrace our grieving hearts with joy that only comes from you. Amen.

Yes, part of God's love for us means that he meets us right where we are. Right in our grief, right in our happiness. Right in those times that make absolutely no sense whatsoever.
Father, I pray for those that have to experience and feel grief this holiday season that You
may give them the courage to do so. And may them see it as a gift so that can encourage others who are grieving the season as well.
