Sarah's Doubt:Genesis 18:12-15
So Sarah laughed to herself, saying, “After I am worn out, and my lord is old, shall I have pleasure?” The Lord said to Abraham, “Why did Sarah laugh and say, ‘Shall I indeed bear a child, now that I am old?’ Is anything too hard for the Lord? At the appointed time I will return to you, about this time next year, and Sarah shall have a son.” But Sarah denied it, saying, “I did not laugh,” for she was afraid. He said, “No, but you did laugh.”

God's Response to Sarah:Genesis 21:1-2
The LORD visited Sarah as he had said, and the LORD did to Sarah as he had promised. And Sarah conceived and bore Abraham a son in his old age at the time of which God had spoken to him.

Reflect and Respond: Sarah, David and Gideon are just 3 of the biblical characters who doubted themselves and God! Yet God was patient with them and provided all they needed. Why do you think the Bible includes accounts of people doubting?

Prayer: Good Father, I want to believe You because You are my Father. But You know the doubt that lives in me. Help me to walk in Your truth because Your promises are true. Let today's Bible passages give me strength and hope for the future. I pray this in Jesus' name. Amen.
