Don't Worry, Be Prayerful - Spiritual Growth Encouragement Series - Arnie Cole

<br>

Bible Verse: Philippians 4:6-7

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.”

Reflect and Respond:

Paul wrote Philippians from a prison cell - he must have had concerns! Yet he told believers to pray rather than worry. He also told them - and us - to thank God for all He has done. Why do you think being thankful is so important? Let me know in the comment section below - and offer any other insight you have as well. I'd love to hear from you!

Prayer:

Father, I come to you today with these needs _________. Thank you for ______. Lord, I want to know and live in Your peace. Please help me to live a prayerful life. Amen

Amen
Always be in prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your request be made known to God. In another words be in prayer for each other.
Not only taking away a bad, but replacing it with good is always encouraging.
Being thankful to God takes your mind off yourself and places God in the right position, first.
Is awesome to know the love and mercy of the Lord with us every day, every momento. Worries could come, but we have the Father of the ages that they care for us. Thats why we leave our worries and anxieth and fullfill our live with the oeace that comes from the heaven.
Hello Patricia. I agree with you besides the fear that paralize, i mean that avoid to live a normal life is from Satán. But there's a normal temour or fear that' it's necessary that prevent us to do wrong things.
Why is important to be thankful? To give honor to our God and it's a way to declare, in faith, the next supplies that we will receive from him.
98% of what we worry about never happens! Worry is a tool of Satan and with it he kills our joy. If we truly belong to the Lord Jesus, we have nothing to fear! No matter what happens~ in the end it's going to be alright. God bless you.✝
We should always acknowledge that God is all-mighty and our Creator. With out God sending His son Jesus Christ to earth and being crucified, man would have no Salvation!
Being thankful makes ALL the difference to me. I am 68yrs young, live alone and with this social distancing we are having to practice (due to COVID19), has been a "time out", if you will from normal daily. Not just for me, but World wide. Drawing on the nearness of our Mighty God, makes such a difference. I rely on His promises because I know He is a faithful God, a good God, a loving God. He knows what's going on and He's working on something good. Romans 8:28
Like so many other believers, we know that God promises to never leave , or forsake us, when I feel doubt , and fear , I quickly get into Gods word, and remember what he had already brought me though. He’s the same God as then!’ He’ll do it again . Jennie Steen
